The dates for 2012 Training Conference are:

April 30th and May 1st.

"Street Crimes" training will be held at the Prairie Meadows Hotel & Casino in Altoona,Iowa. Members will receive a discounted rate of $150, less than half the standard rate for this training. The 'new' Prairie Meadows Hotel has reserved a block of rooms that will be held until March 15th at a special rate of $99. Please call 1-800-325-9015 for reservations.

 

Pat McCarthy has developed this training for Law Enforcement Officers only. Pat spent 6 yrs. with the U.S. Marines Corps Reserve and is a 25 yr. veteran of the Chicago Police Department. He has earned 14 Special Department Commendations and more than 100 honorable mentions and letters of appreciation from the Director of the FBI and other Federal Agencies. 2011 Conference

The 2011 Annual Training Conference was held in Sioux City on May 2nd and 3rd. The Conference site and host Hotel was the Hilton Garden Inn. This years topic was," Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs", presented by Steve Cook. We held a raffle which included the winners choice of any Glock.  To view more photos from the Conference, open our Spring Iowa Law Enforcement Magazine located under Iowa Law Enforcement on the

2010

Conference

The 103rd  annual conference of the Iowa Association of Chiefs of Police and Peace Officers was held on April 13-14, 2010, at the Des Police Department PARC Recreation Center, 5374 E. University, Pleasant Hill.

Dr. George Thompson, president and founder of the Verbal Judo Institute, conducted a two-day "Basic Verbal Judo" workshop.
